Asbestos In School ?

Asbestos banned in 1989 by EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) but it still found at some schools, causing potential health risk to many people especially teachers, students,and other. The Ban did not require to remove the asbestos containing material. The EPA does, require the schools to remove any damaged asbestos material on the premises.

So, the schools are required to report parent-teacher organization once a year of the status of the shcools asbestos management plan ,including the plan asbestos removal.
